FEATURE || Almond milk; it's "a thing"

For this week's Good Food Epicure I got to discover the tasty joys of fresh, raw almond milk. Made by hand with little more than a few fresh almonds, filtered water, some sea salt and fresh dates (for sweetness) this stuff is undeniably good and really trumps the UHT versions on flavour and texture. Plus it's really great in coffee.

My rigorous research meant couriered eskies filled with the good stuff (see pic above) and lots of tastings with the likes of Latte di Mandorla, Almond Milk Co. and Inside Out Nutritious Goods.
